I don't think 3 is turned off. It died in the ass when we were talking on it last friday nite, and I haven't heard it since. I think it blew up.

I have just learned that the problems that the Radio Rampage server has been having the past week are related to the war in Georgia. The RR server has been an innocent victim of the cyber-attacks between the two countries. Curiously, the problems started several days before the war broke out last week. It seems that someone knew it was coming. hmmm...

As you may have noticed, Radio Rampage has been having server problems the past week or so. I have been trying to contact the hoster, but I'm not getting any response. It does seem that they have been working on it. Hopefully it is all fixed now.

P.S. Scrawn80, nah, that's too much for mostly VHF equipment.

Well for those that don't know. There is a discussion paper out for public comment on the future of 400 mhz spectrum. Yes as with everything they want to make CB "narrow band". That then means 80 channels. I would like that to not happen but if it does fix it so repeater uplinks cannot be stomped on. Also go so far as to fix it so you really need to dial up a "repeater" channel to be on one. None of the shit we have today!
